An international energy sector client that we’ve been working with since 2010 approached us in 2023 to ask us to help them with their UK benefits package following a group restructure. Following this group restructure, the client faced significant uncertainty about how to align their UK benefits package with the new corporate structure. This included navigating legal and compliance requirements for insured benefits and workplace pensions.
We worked with our client and their employment lawyers to understand the legal requirements of all insured benefits and their workplace pension.
We conducted a market review and agreed an implementation plan. We held an employee presentation and drafted employee communications to help with the transition. A key challenge during the transition was ensuring that employees were informed, reassured, and fully onboard with the new benefits package. Clear communication was critical to maintaining trust and engagement.
We now provide ongoing service and support for a full comprehensive EB package including group risk benefits, UK and international PMI insurance, stand-alone travel insurance and UK workplace pension schemes including administrating a salary sacrifice scheme for pension contributions.
